Overseas Licence Conversions

Holding an overseas licence and wanting to convert to a NSW licence?

At Defence Driving School, we assist overseas licence holders to obtain a NSW licence by:

  • Highlighting the necessary skills and driving techniques required to pass the test
  • Training the students to drive on the left side of the road
  • Training the students to become familiar with the road rules
  • Training the students to become familiar with the Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) test course and routes.

If you have held your overseas licence for 3 years or more and pass the RMS practical driving test you will be issued with a NSW full licence.  If you have held your overseas licence for less than 3 years and pass the RMS practical driving test you will be issued with the appropriate licence either P1 or P2.
